Relationships are integral in the health and quality of our lives. It can be immensely rewarding to be in community with others and simultaneously feel stressful and difficult when we haven’t learned healthy communication and boundaries. Together, we can process your experiences and identify sustainable coping strategies for thriving in your interpersonal relationships.
Asian American Mental Health
The Asian American healing experience is unique and thus deserves specific tailored support. The process must include weaving cultural knowledge, internal wisdom, intuition, resilience and the acknowledgement of stigma and shame for some. There are many effective methods of healing that are used, however research has shown that Asian Americans are less likely than other racial demographic groups to seek out therapy. My passion is in helping individuals find harmony in healing with therapy and their cultural wisdom and traditional healing methods. I have witnessed Culturally-based healing methods in conjunction with traditional talk-therapy be tremendously effective.
Healing via Brainspotting
As a trained brainspotter, I offer support with activating healing through focused mindfulness and nervous system regulation. If you are interested in exploring alternatives to talk-therapy, brainspotting can be helpful for identifying, processing, and releasing trauma and pain from distressing experiences through body-mind connection.
